Project Description

To strengthen our team, the Professorship for Regulatory Affairs at the KPM Center for Public Management and the Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine (sitem-insel) is seeking a Student Assistant for active support in ongoing health economics research projects. This position is particularly suitable for master's students interested in interdisciplinary collaboration and enrolled in Economics, Health Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or similar fields. Applicants should have at least one year remaining before completing their studies.

Your responsibilities

  • Help with the analysis of quantitative data using R-Studio
  • Extraction of clinical data and health economics parameters from patient records and published literature
  • Cleaning, organizing, validating datasets in Excel for modeling purposes while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Research support and assistance in research activities and teaching-related activities

Your Profile

  • Enrollment at the University of Bern
  • Analytical, structured, networked thinking and attention to detail
  • Independence, flexibility, and communication skills
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Fluency in English; German or French are an advantage
  • Demonstrated quantitative methodology and statistical knowledge are an advantage
